FBI won't OK book that criticizes bureau

The FBI has been holding-up publication of a former veteran
agent's manuscript critical of the bureau's handling of
fundraising scandals and national security-related cases.
Bureau employees are supposed to submit to pre-publication
review, giving the FBI power over public criticism. (07/10/01)
