Both the former Nazi leader and current Communist leader pulled an international public relations coup by lassoing the Olympic games. For Hitler, the year was 1936. For Zemin, the year is 2008. However, time changes neither the nature of evil nor the stupidity of people who try to ignore evil. Evil was evil when it was practiced by Nazi Germany; it is still evil when being practiced by Communist China. The decision by the Olympics Committee to allow the Evil Empire of the East to host the 2008 Olympic games is ludicrous and should be opposed by every lover of liberty! The idea of allowing Red China to host the Olympics in order to make it more civilized is also laughable. The 1936 games didn't convert Hitler; the 2008 Olympics won't convert Zemin. It takes more than a bunch of people playing games to change a tyrant's heart. The cruel conduct of the criminal cabal in China is well documented. Since seizing power, the Communist Chinese have murdered more than 65 million people. They continue to persecute people of faith and imprison political dissidents. The ghoulish practice of using capital punishment to harvest human body parts is also well established. Forced abortions, torture and brutality is the Communist government's normal modus operandi. But to the Olympics Committee, this means nothing. Neither does China's dismal human rights record seem to disturb the Bush administration. When the Republican controlled House of Representatives was about to pass a resolution denouncing the possible decision to grant Beijing the 2008 Olympics, Bush stepped in and strongly requested that they not do it. They didn't. Hardly anyone else did either. The vast majority of leaders in this country are falling all over themselves to accommodate Communist China. Politicians, businessmen, even religious leaders are treating this rogue regime as royalty. They shouldn't be. Behind the pomp and ceremony lies a monster. It is a dangerous devil that is drunk with the blood of innocent men, women and children. As Hitler used the 1936 Olympics to beguile the world, so Zemin will use the 2008 Olympics to do the same thing. We know what Hitler did during the years following 1936. Are we prepared to deal with what China will do in the years following 2008? Instead of participating in the Beijing Olympics, the United States should boycott them. As Jimmy Carter pulled America out of the Moscow games due to Russia's brutality, so Bush should pull America out of the Beijing games for its perpetual perniciousness.
