PLEASE SLAY THIS BEAST AND OPPOSE'FREE TRADE FOR THE AMERICAS','TRADE PROMOTION' BOONDOGLES -Corporate Management Pork- the FREE LOADERS BEHIND THE FREE TRADE LIE. Their greed, Administration expedience, and your colleagues will fight you over this treachery to our Republic and Constitution and DEFRAUD US Likewise, I support Senator Helms' block on Treasury nominations that may or may not be linked with actually addressing the Administration's interest to redefine/change export/import licenses that would violate the jobs situation, fabric/garment industries in that state OR YOUR STATE, and more likely abrogate the proper tarriffs and duties belonging to voters in our nation. Further, after being among the private sector experts who reviewed the drafts of Gramm, Leach, Bliley, I doubt holds on appointees Globalist Paul O'Neill's Department would do harm to the government -rather- opposing any of his nominations would SERVE THIS GOVERNMENT AND THE CITIZENS OF THIS NATION. I would have supported "Trade Promotion' /'Fast Track' and 'Free Trade for the Americas' ACCEPT I began to analyze it. Taking the next step with further due diligence, I found a book entitled North American Economic Integration(1999) which exposed the conception of NAFTA. During Warsaw Pact's disintegration in the 90s, and Mexico's fear of competition from the Developed economies partnering with the emerging economies of educated, hungry Eastern Europe, Mexico's president proposed a trade agreement with the US. Companies and managements with a Texas, etc/Mexican Border had access to cheap Mexican labor. Next, hatchet those products' Constitutional Tarriffs/ duties and pollution expenses while producing in a nation ignoring pollution controls, and with low transport costs uniting a 'NAFTA' and Texan management pork, these collectively have harmed the US economic and maufacturing base-President George Bush c.1990. The author exposes more (Pg12) US gov culpability with this: "political scientists also have reason to be uneasy about NAFTA (as an illustration). They tend to view free trade agreements as a problematic issue for political candidates irrespective of their ideological positions, ie, free trade is usually seen by workers in developed countries as a threat to their economic security, especially during periods of stagnating wages and massive restructuring 'downsizing' as was in the case in the early 1990s" (that recession was caused by a Democrat-lead Congress and Reagan's 1986 Tax Act, which contributed to the thrift and bank 'crisis'. Big Business took advantage in the recession to conduct restructuring and charge the these expenses during a time when corporations were already reporting lower profits). "Nonetheless, firms (management?) especially those in high-tech, export-oriented industries (where management's bonuses include options they exercise with rising stock prices), tend to support freer trade and through lobbyists, wield considerable influence with political candidates, hence, politicians may well lose voter support if they support 'free trade' and lose campaign funding if they oppose it - a classic 'no win' situation. Nevertheless, some political scientists looking at (foreign relations) which have fluctuated widely in recent decades use (these agreements) a tool for 'normalizing' the channels of<> discussion<> on a wide range of economic and political issues..." In an innocuous, yet revealing way, the author exposes the heart of the matter...that MANAGEMENT WANTS FREE TRADE TO SUIT THEIR OWN POCKETS, regardless of their employees, OF OUR CONSTITUTION, AND ECONOMIC BASE, while YOU - our elected officials want the lobbyists' wielding campaign contributions from corporate management looking to line its own pockets profiting from THIS FRAUD. THE TRUTH HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH 'DEMOCRACY', WHICH THEY HAVE TERMED TO BE SOMETHING FRIGHTINGLY LESS THAN THE FRAMERS OF OUR GOVERNMENT BELIEVED THAT WORD TO MEAN AND FOUGHT TWO WARS TO ESTABLISH IN THIS CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC. The ultimate waste of taxpayer money into management hands with much 'Free Trade' and the difference between our government gathering Constitutional taxes such as Tarriffs, rather than having the Executive Branch take fruits of our labor with wage/salary/ and similar taxes, I would rather pay the tarriffs to have back my salary, bonus, and returns from investments untaxed. THE VERY END OF THIS BECOMES THE END OF THE REPUBLIC AND OUR CONSTITUTION. IS THIS WHAT YOU WANT? YOU SHOULD BE MORE PUBLIC ABOUT IT. THE MORE YOU HARM THIS REPUBLIC, THE MORE YOU DESTROY YOURSELVES. The insolence of Corporate America and what you have done in Washington is so evident; globalist corporate management does not - DO YOU? AND THEY DON'T REALLY CARE ABOUT THE REST OF THE WORLD, or they would conduct themselves differently abroad. EXPORTING 'DEMOCRACY' IS THEIR LIE TO HAVE YOU DEFRAUD US. And, supporting 'Trade Promotion' formerly known as 'fast track', proposed during the Clinton Administration (and as well as related 'trade' efforts such a NAFTA'S new Gorgon Medusa sister "Free Trade for the Americas") violate the system of checks and balances between the Executive and Legislative banches originally established in our government. Given the corruption experienced during and resulting from the previous administration and how it and Congress interacted, we must eschew every Clintonian or 'shadow government' agenda which attempts and would disrupt our governmental system of Checks and Balances. Have concern when Alan Greenspan, Colin Powell, and Charlene Barshefsky support Trade Promotion/Fast Track - and the umbrella Big Daddy - "Free Trade" - trade treachery and corporate management pork/welfare when one realizes the intentions of WHO BENEFITS. Although Ms. Barshefsky, Mr. Powell and Mr. Greenspan represent different constituecies, all share their membership in the "Shadow Government" and support corporate and special interests over those of the US electorate and the Constitution, and were not and are not subject to direct control by Congress and real scrutiny of voting citizens and Taxpayers. Paul O'Neill verbalized their agenda to the Financial Times, a London based daily financial newspaper - in its Saturday edition (ENDNOTe 1). Perhaps O'Neill thought only globalistic readers and the leaders who believe his comments are ambitious FT Week-end readers. Treas Secrty O'Neill said that he wants to eliminate corporate income taxes, that the individual taxpayer would shoulder the heavier tax burden, the individual taxpayer now pays 80% up from 60% 20 years ago of 'income' taxes to the US government, and that able-bodied elderly can or should or would have to continue to work - as if in an adjustment to the current social security system. This is largely the shared agenda of Ms.Barshefsky, Mr. Greenspan, who calls us all 'consumers' yet frets over the low savings rate. WHAT IS HIS AGENDA? Even Ms. Barshefsky and President Bush agree that trade 'endeavors' often are a form of diplomacy, and at a future point may become some sort of entry to treaties. This is actually a VERY backward way to conduct US State Affairs and Foreign Policy, as well as ignoring that Senate ratifies treaties, these which likewise it also negotiates. Permitting the Executive Branch, where only the President is elected once every four years - this is THE TRADE PROMOTION PLOY - to develop trade and trade agreements, export licenses, and other USGov activities with foreign nations and NGOs without any step-by-step oversight by our Legislative Branch-people who we elect every 2, 4 years, primarily exhibits a group of people very absorbed with their ends and desirous of its own agenda without oversight, rather than respect checks, balances, and responsibilities left us in word and THEME of the ideals/principles embodied in and Amendments of the U.S. Constitution (ENDNOTE 2- LOCKHEED MARTIN is on a separate email). The Shadow Government via this 'Trade Promotion' ambition of the Executive Branch, tinkering with Checks and Balances in our formal government at this point displays its insolence and disservice to the US and the institutions of this Republic. The Executive Branch and the Shadow Government practice expedience - easily accessed by Corporate Management and management soft money campaign contributions directed to the parties, as well as its aggressive self-serving desire to shake the American Taxpayer and Shareholder Money Tree --when the Executive Branch permits this to happen. Ms. Barshefsky and perhaps, President Bush, support 'trade promotion' for quid pro quo purposes to corporate management; Ms. Barshefsky wants corporate business, and VOLUMES of CORPORATE MANAGEMENT CAMPAIGN SOFT MONEY (VIA LOBBYISTS?) CONTRIBUTIONS SLUCED INTO President Bush's campaign. Follow the money - one eventually finds the hidden but true benefactors in the situation. Corporate Management becomes the true benefactor of 'trade promotion','fast track' and 'Free Trade' each propoganda inspired misnomers to hide the truth, and management contrived gov tools to conduct GLOBALISM and FRAUD AGAINST US, and our individual and national wealth. And so, as "Free Trade" or aptly named, FRAUD TRADE, sums from the following: Executive Branch catering to and having been recipients of greed driven stock-option-exercising, obsessed-management-making soft money campaign contributions lobbying for 'free trade'/'trade promoton' to decrease the manufacturing costs to achieve a more expidient end than manufacturing cheaper goods and eliminating the import tarriffs produces. SHAMELESSLY USING OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS WITH THIS CAREFULLY CONTRIVED LIE THAT promoting 'trade promotion' and 'free trade' are what is right and good for the country and that opposing the fatal attraction of 'Free Trade' is 'protectionist' after one understands the management and executive branch tactic used to deceive US to actually support this treachery, which as I previously stated - actually institutionalizing the corporate pork of protecting inefficient industries by cheapening the labor and commodity/rawmaterial costs/expenses rather than actually facilitating management making essential capital reinvestment for paradigm changing technological advancement in their respective industries. Managements in these industries that prefer "Free Trade" over re-investing in their businesses and US employees in the US reveal their inferior conduct and practice managing their companies. So, the crafty and seductive "Free Trade" flag-bearing managements of those inefficient companies are actually saying to us that they are not interested in investing in true technological advancement to make their industries more efficient, or that if they didn't do some desperate act to reduce operating costs, they would be bait for acquisition by a larger or more efficient competitor, and that in reality, as hidebound management, they are so unresourceful and uncreative that they would abuse non-US citizens to keep their inefficient companies alive and line their own pockets with the blood and sweat of foreign citizens who will never see options to exercise let alone perhaps even a decent education for themselves or their children, while share prices move higher on the market perception of smoke and mirrors of short term profits. 'Free Trade' and its off-spring, thus are management pork and support more management dinosaurs than any subsidized industry. Free Trade does not benefit US citizens with lower prices, as management for themselves pockets the savings from: not having to pay duties and Constitutional tarriffs accompanying the imports, avoiding the higher US wage levels, where with 'free trade' the intermediary processes of US off-shore manufacturing enters without the cost savings passing to end prices. 'Free trade' is to enrich management with the difference saved by eliminating tarriffs and duties while avoiding issues such as labor problems and commodities with environmental impact concerns. Another fantastic kudo for 'free trade' and supposedly 'trade promotion' also declares that it 'exports our democracy'. Trade promotion no more exports our democracy than does exporting garbage and sewage for dumping. Further, the countries to which we alledgely are 'exporting our democracy'are corrupt,authoritarian/ totalitarian (fascist or communist), sectarian, class-stratified societies with national religions, whose people remain in virtually the same deplorable condition as they were 50 years ago, when many were under their former dictator or colonial powers and/or controlled by Roman Catholism or some other national religion or national church. This revisits another reason for the half-nelson propoganda to push 'free trade': many of the countries with which we are practicing 'free trade' are former colonies of developed nations and our corporations are merely replacing the former colonial powers that extracted resources and exploited the remoteness and underdevelopment of those regions and societies. In a de facto way, it puts money back into the hands of our allies by 'trading' and doing business in their former colonies. Our presense in these regions acutally more destabilizes that stabilizes due to the instability and corruption in those rule of man governments combined with the nature of the 'development' in those former colonies: they had their own cultural development disrupted by European colonialism, and then again disrupted differently by US Corporate colonialism. Results from today's corporate welfare in the US and its int'l version in the manner of US corporate colonialism (ie, "exporting our democracy"- siting abroad to lower labor and commodities expenses to give short term boosts to operating revenues) in underdeveloped regions include: civil wars which arise over strife from valuable commodities or water. Thieves armed and funded by corporate interests disrupt people who farm their land in these rural regions to relocate themselves elsewhere, leaving the valuable commodities for exploitation by financial backers of the armed guerillas (or conducted through an 'Iran-Contra' strategy). The span of examples finds Africa on the extreme end, with Latin South America on the other, as well as the PRC included. It uses a more creative form of control and destructiveness, however, against its people moving in unsanctioned forms of liberty and against the interests of that corrupt totalitarian regime.(I opposed PNTR and the plane incident and the deals to securitize the sour loans of its corrupt, failed banks continues to vindicate my assessment of capriciousness and tyranny of that absurd, wasteful, and irrational government. It is worse, however when my government acts as foolish as that of the PRC's.) 'Free Trade' and 'Trade Promotion' fosters neither education nor eliminates sectarianism promoting national religions or national churches, as the lack of institutionalized education and sectarianism created by a national religion or national church that controls the country stifles how a nation and its citizens would flourish. What fosters education, liberty, and the broad-based accumulation of wealth is upholding the model largely demonstrated in the United States routed in the Judeo-Christian/'Protestant' work ethic, and originating with Plato and adopted by the Romans, where we flourish because we were and are a largely non-class stratified, largely egalitarian, non-sectarian society, without a national church or national religion that would have enfranchised one sect or group over another and hindered life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. Using the founding model of the US unfortunately infrequently accompanies trade. As promoting education and eliminating the national church or national religionan facilitates 'class movement'in non- totalitarian societies are painted as 'moralistic', or some similiarly absurd slam, what really promotes liberty is the model in which we were founded - THIS IS THE HEART OF PERMANENT PROSPERITY: copy our founding model with all of its high ideals (excluding slavery and discrimination, of course) and that will promote life, liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. Free Trade with anything other than a Western Nation and Canada, becomes the Globalist version of the "Great Society" for the rest of the world, which did not work in the States, and likewise will not work in vulnerable areas abroad. Historical lessons such as the Johnson era, think-tank/social utopianistic inspired Great Society exemplify this very sort of strategy on vulnerable and forming cultures: remove jobs from a 1culture, in the way jobs were removed from US urban environments, and throw in money, free or wit few strings, and after adding a with a few other social pressures - that society will decay, as did our urban societies. The management funded think tanks in this era, strategized that if the corporations remove US jobs and site off-shore without any sort of responsible labor framework, and move those former US jobs into cultures with corrupt governments and without some sort of system of values by which it respects its citizens other than for tax moneys and votes to remain in control, the US corporate managements cut cozy deals with corrupt government officials in those countries, agree to pay kickbacks and bribes (or give them shares) to the corrupt govermental officials in those countries, and pay slave wages to the citizens. The bribes are small enough and hidden well enough to elude accounting forensics and considered part of doing business abroad, in the short run reduce labor expenses and the raw material prices. The management funded Think Tanks have then facilitated the 'free trade' strategy, and in part are behind the cultural and intellectual stratification of our current society as well as the problems in Developing and Third World. Think tank <utopianistic> propoganda also promotes the jobs=identity mentality and partner with the press and other institutions in our society to foster and validate a common mentality absorbed with consuming, rather than the mentality of the thrifty, self reliant, intrepid citizens from whose legacies we flourish. If one has a job to enable one to consume more, that makes one morally superior than others whose jobs hinder them from consuming, and this is the same mentality that partners with the trade arguement that 'trade exports our democracy' and that we are helping to feed a 'starving' world and to help save the US farmer, etc... these are all carefully contrived lies partnered with useful manipulating media propoganda. Any decent citizen should oppose not only 'free trade' but begin boycotting products of many US manufacturers siting abroad and undermining our society and our ecomony. Actually, practicing Patria Patriae and ending or curtailing trade with corrupt governments will encourage these quickly to avoid rule of man politics, cozy deals with neopotistic inbred wealth in those corrupt countries in bed with those corrupt governments, and sectariansim that disrupts economic flows and hinders education of the children, and that which would enable the people to cast and informed vote - WHICH WOULD PROMOTE LIBERTY AND DEMOCRACY AS WE PRACTICED IT IN THE US. STOPPING TRADE AND ELIMINATING MONEY INTO CORRUPT GOVERNMENTS EVENTUALLY PROMOTES AND EXPORTS OUR high ideals=democracy to those nations. HIGH IDEALS DO NOT PARTNER WITH NOR ENGAGE IN ANY SORT OF ACTIVITIES SUCH AS CORRUPTION, DESTRUCTIVENESS, AND TYRRANY. If our government eschews these corrupt, cozy leaders sleeping with monied families in their countries and elsewhere, these governments will improve. These corrupt governments and US Corporate managements want to shake the money tree - the "rich" US Taxpayer. SPARE THE ROD AND SPOIL THE CHILD. If these under developed governments and their economies are children, rewarding bad behavior such as that would proliforate an unlearned, ignorant citizenry, class stratified and its reinforcement, sectarianism, especially as practiced in the Bulkans and Macedonia. (I indicated while settling Kosovo, eliminate the national religion in that region, and deal similarly with Serbia.) Eliminating the national religion removes the reason for the sectarianism that counts on enfranchisement from the government, and when the laws and rule of law support some sort of non-sectarianism in the way our Constitution does not support any national religion or national church, the economy and society will flourish peacefully. Having practiced some critical thinking on 'free trade' - it does not really promote life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness in the 'developing' and 'third world' societies as many of those citizens do not have or have little access to education and where the lack of societal and functional governmental development in those societies, when engaged in 'trade' do more harm than good to the people as it is like throwing gasoline on a fire. The 'free trade' supporters would have us believe otherwise and defraud us. In the Short Run, cheaper production factor imputs (lower wages and commodities achieved from 'free trade) via importation do not mean long term improvements in price or volume, but fill management's pockets with expediently gained 'cost saves', etc, and facilitate the arm twisting arguement for, in reality, 'fraud trade'. Industry subsized by 'free trade' avoids essential capital re-investment for true paradigm changing technological advancement, the only factor input that in the long run lowers price for the same volume or increases volume for the same price. And addressing the 'isolationism' issues, any person blathering that during the 20's, the trade policies made by those administrations became reasons behind the market crash and subsequent 'Great Depression' either expose their ignorance of history or are propogandists for corporate management's pork and globalism: the 1929 'Crash' was caused when banks had to raise money for liquidity purposes while our Federal Reserve was lending money to the UK and draining needed liquidity from our economy. Banks began making margin calls to obtain funds and issued margin calls, forcing those owning shares on margin to SELL their shares to raise the money to pay the margin call, thus provide some sort of liquidity for the banks. The 'Great Depression' began during the Roosevelt Administration and was caused when Roosevelt closed all banks on the Bank Holiday, and chose only those he and his advisors wished to reopen, which excluded many rural and non-Federal Reserve member banks, so as to purposely destabalize the econony and facilitate the environment where he would institute his huge social programs into the Executive Branch. The previous decade's trade laws actually were the reason Roosevelt and the Shadow government powers in concert with him wanted the Great Depression, to concentrate power in the government and existing large corporations and the developing cozy, self-serving, self-enriching relationship with the Executive Branch, where only the President is elected. Now the government, in 'search' to meet its budget shortfall, will hunt for the these funds from taxpayers. As option owners on future shares of their companies, and with the promise of substantial wealth that those options and future share prices entail - an end sought at any and every cost, Corporate Management had contributed grandly to campaigns, meanwhile defrauding taxpayers and shareholders with opposing 'free trade'= 'isolationism', slandering of those wanting and practising cautious and prudent trade conduct, DE-EMPHASIZING trade in relation to DIPLOMACY. Patria Patriae promotes diplomacy over commerce. The framers of our government believed Diplomacy came before and was more important than Commerce. In circumstances such as relations with the PRC, a country that does not work by or follow agreements, corporate managements, think tanks and foreign and other interests demean prudent, any US circumspectness with foreign constiuents as 'ISOLATONISIM'when it is PRUDENT to avoid extensive commerce with nations such as the PRC: not a rule of law nation, which is using the US merely as a manner to develop itself and eventually in its mad imperialist ambition to laud itself and its system as being superior to ours and the west, which the PRC hates. Any US legislator who went on 'high stakes' trade missions to the PRC and other communist countries - Viet Nam,and where those corrupt totalitarian Governments fully knew and prepared and may even have done 'remote viewing' or remote versions of mind control to-for US legislators' visits, and when our elected officials traveled and met 1. government permitted local entrepreneurs who had to pay bribes to PRC officials, 2. were going to be objects of strong, fierce propoganda, to be used as tools to pursuade the rest of Congress, US commercial interests, and US, partnering with the former expedient Administration that had received money from ChineseGenerals. Our elected officials have conducted treachery against the American people when they were deluded into believing that we have to 'help'those entrepenuers by trading with their totalitarian government to the harm to our own, and while those deserving 'entrepreneurs'would and should eventually flee that tyrrany which we recklessly and foolishly support with trade. So the Executive Branch and Legislative Branch - the White House and Congress, are disserving the American people by supporting activities that are harming our national wealth and prestige, deceiving us that trade exports our 'democracy' when all it is doing is lowering the labor expenses to enrich American and foreign management, and pretending that cheaper goods is putting money back into our pockets while we are taxed with 1. higher taxes 2. marginal, a trend towards lower paying service sector jobs (for unskilled and marginally skilled people) that proliferate after what had been better manufacturing jobs relocating abroad. Whether one names it Internationalism or Globalism, the 'free trade' fatal attraction it is largely for lining managements' pockets, the Taxpayer is disserved and 'Trade Promotion' becomes the Executive branch's self-serving affair with the management money and think tanks that put the Administration in the White House and ELECTED OFFICIALS into the Legislative Branch. Thank you for your attention and for opposing the 'free trade' fatal attraction. IF YOU SUPPORT THIS, THE BLOOD OF THE DEATH WHAT YOUR ARE DOING TO THE CONSTITUTION AND OUR REPUBLIC IS ON YOUR HANDS. FIGHT THE WHITE HOUSE AND THIS CORRUPTION THEY ARE DOING ON BEHALF OF GREED MINDED CORPORATE MANAGEMENT - THE FREE LOADERS USING THEIR FAVORITE LIE - FREE TRADE. Andrea Psoras Delegate New York 2000 Republican National Convention 1) FT Weekend/Financial Times O'Neill lays out radical vision By Amity Shlaes in Washington May 18 2001 18:28GMT Paul O'Neill, US Treasury Secretary, has laid out a vision for a radical reform of the US tax structure, including a sweeping revision of the Social Security - or public pension - system and abolition of corporate income taxand capital gains tax on businesses. In an interview with the FT at his Treasury office, Mr O'Neill espoused changes that would reach far beyond the legislation currently before Congress. As the Senate moved ahead with the Bush administration's initial $1,350bn tax reduction plan, which Mr O'Neill expects to be signed into law next Friday, he expanded on his previous piece meal attacks on America's tax system. The present system was "an abomination" that required changes to its "very structure". " Not only am I committed to working on this issue, the President [George W Bush] is also intrigued about the possibility of fixing this mess," said Mr O' Neill. One of the most important moves, he suggested, would be abolition of taxation on companies. Corporate income tax, the main form of tax on US businesses, accounts for 10 per cent of federal revenues and has a top rate of 35 per cent. Among other controversial ideas, Mr O'Neill questioned the guarantees the government provides for full public subsidy of senior citizens' health care and retirement programmes. "Able-bodied adults who have the ability to earn income have an obligation not to pass part of their own responsibility on to a broader population," he said. His remarks are bound to reverberate in Washington, where speaking about reductions in elderly care programmes has been taboo. Mr O'Neill's remarks reflect growing determination in the Bush administration to show its willingness to propose radical change to try to secure growth. (this isn't going to in the long run, do right by our economy and our citizens) Abolishing corporate tax would inevitably lead to higher personal income taxes, but Mr O'Neill believes such a move would reduce the overall tax burden and promote economic growth. Current corporate tax levels - and their administrative costs - were too high, he said. The system would work better if the government "collected taxes in a more direct way from the people, who were paying the taxes in any event".... _______________________________________________________ Send a cool gift with your E-Card http://www.bluemountain.com/giftcenter/ <A HREF="http://www.ctrl.org/">www.ctrl.org</A> DECLARATION & DISCLAIMER ========== CTRL is a discussion & informational exchange list.
