You are wrong. The idiocy is that Canada promotes itself as a sportsman's
paradise. The greatest place in the world to hunt and fish. There are
hundreds of expensive hunting / fishing camps throughout Canada that
cater to US hunters and fishers. It is a large Canadian industry that
employs thousands of Canadians who normally have little employment
opportunity, including many Native Canadians.
If you are trying to attract hunters and fishers, do you go bonkers if
a US hunter drives to Canada in a pick up with an NRA sticker?
What do you think a hunter would have on his vehicle, a "save the
whales" sticker??
