YOU may have wasted your money on such pills -- the rest of us recognized
the Y2K thing for the "Chicken Little" scenario that it was...
BTW, those tablets will only protect your thyroid gland from certain
types of radiation -- they won't do a damn thing to protect the rest of
your body from the full spectrum of radiation that is released in a
nuclear blast....
