I just received an e-mail from my brother -- both my sister and uncle
are fine. My sister witnessed the attack, but she was unharmed. I thank
God for the good fortune of my family.

We're all alright. I spoke to Barbara today, Mom spoke with Harry, and
Carolyn spoke with Joe. And of course, Jeanine and Chris are ok and
doing well. I was in lower Manhattan yesterday morning and actually saw
the WTC on fire (I didn't see the collapse). Barbara was even closer to
the action, and she had to make a run for it as the first building
collapsed. Neither she nor Joe made it to work yesterday or today, and
my office was closed yesterday and we were sent home. It's still closed
today. Carolyn spend the night at her job rather than endure the hassle
of coping with a curtailed transportation network. So there you have it
-- we've all survived this particular Mideastern conspiracy.
