It depicted an American soldier in the midst of liberating a Nazi death camp. An emaciated survivor was vociferously identifying an SS officer who was attempting to simply slink away from the organized carnage which he had perpetuated. I found it amazing that this gaunt prisoner could summon the courage and strength to point the finger of blame during a moment when he should have simply rejoiced at his ultimate survival. Rage is a powerful motivator. So it is with that same impassioned resolve that I instigate the finger-pointing for this attack upon our nation. If you are a patriot, then you've already identified the clever political and media tactics which attempt to divert your attention from the true culprits. You have refused to be fooled by the subversive insinuations that "our Intelligence apparatus has failed." Make no mistake about the true terrorists in our midst, for they are standing arm in arm while speaking soulfully to the people of New York. The blame for this tragedy falls squarely at the feet of everyone associated with the Clinton administration. To endure the oily remorse of Senator Clinton is almost too much to bear. Is there not one sensible person in New York who remembers the Clinton health care debacle of 1993, a socialist plot which would have gutted New York's teaching hospitals and medical resources to the tune of $15 billion per year (keep that figure of $15,000,000,000 in mind...that's what it will cost to replace the towers.) Senator Schumer is a charlatan whose only claim to fame is his absurd hypocrisy demonstrated by defending the Clinton pardons and excoriating John Ashcroft during the same week. The representation in New York is an embarrassment. Nadler, Meeks, Weiner and their ilk should be tried for sedition rather than lauded for leadership. All of these bit players pale in comparison to their overlord and his vice lackey, presently under armed guard while traveling on our tax dollars. If you still believe that Bill Clinton and Al Gore had nothing to do with this gross violation of our confidence, then I suggest you cleanse your palate with a nice column by Joe Conason or Molly Ivins. These heretics sold our secrets, compromised our technology, and then bolstered a public relations ploy called "Reinventing Government" by decimating the defense department to the tune of three hundred thousand personnel. Our nightmare is not a towering inferno, it was the fog of eight inept years of faux leadership and policy ransacking which led to this breakdown. The sad fact about this disaster... not tragedy...disaster, is that nothing will change. We have become completely desensitized by a media hungry for control of our minds and a government hungry for our money. We have been told over and over again that to be an American is to open our arms and hearts to the most questionable of people and policies, and that to reject aberrance and to discriminate (until the ACLU came along, "discriminate" had only good connotations) against moral relativism is bigoted and narrow-minded. Our public schools have been hijacked by lawyers, our policies have been hijacked by special interests, and our borders have been hijacked by criminals. Should we really be surprised that our airlines suffer the same fate? To call these suicide bombers "cowards" is the height of cowardice on our part. The most rudimentary psychological associations will reveal that we project our fears and shortcomings when criticizing others. I can't speak for anyone else, but the word "coward" doesn't come to mind when describing a person capable of ramming a jumbo jet into a skyscraper to punctuate his beliefs. I haven't met a half dozen people in my life who have this passion for any aspect of their existence. We are sedate, and we are vulnerable, because we have been mired in the minutia of semantics and political correctness. Our nation has been infiltrated by those who make appalling livings by defecating on the founding documents and mutating our heritage. They are the new terrorists which should be feared above all others. To exercise vengeance upon a foreign enemy is no more complex than the coordinated attack on our Trade Centers. Break out the nukes, and show the Middle East how sand is really made. To bomb from afar is rather lazy and cowardly if you think about it. We fear combat, as evidenced by our inability to confront demons like Reverend Jackson and Patricia Ireland. This attack was a long time in coming, because our society has lost the ability to point the finger at the bad guy. Just remember that there are Americans who watched last night's Presidential address and vehemently objected to Dubya's invocation of Scripture. These are the same people who would vigorously defend the Islamic cells in this country who attempt sabotage in the name of Allah. They are defenders of the phrase "there is no right or wrong, only opinion." Meanwhile, twenty-five thousand citizens lie beneath the shattered ruins of our complacence. Blood is on all of our hands, because we've allowed the true bad guys (and girls...sorry Hillary, Maxine, Barbara, Diane, et al) to subvert the Constitution and mutate the Bill of Rights. I heard late today that Walmart had pulled ammunition from their shelves. Maybe the libs are correct; our society should be disarmed. We're too lazy to reload, and those "crazies" from abroad have proven that you can reek havoc with some box cutters and an aviation manual. The enemy is laying in wait, counting the minutes of this extended news cycle, hoping that no one will notice that they are the the reason for this destruction and state of unpreparedness. During that glorified photo-op singalong on the Capital steps, Gary Condit was no where to be found. Modesto's representative is hoping that this tragedy takes the light of discovery off of his sordid existence, and his consituents are powerless to intercede. If our democracy is so damned great, then why can't we get a few "fundamentalists" in Washington?
