Sin occurs 448 times in 389 verses in the King James Bible.
The first is:
Gen 4:7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest
not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee [shall be] his desire, and
thou shalt rule over him.
And nearly the last is:
1Jo 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from
the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might
destroy the works of the devil.
