Submission is not a negative word, it is a stronger version of the same
concept as acceptance. There is no problem, if you are a believe, with
submitting to the will of Allah - which goes beyond just accepting it. the
point is that yusseff islam (nee cat stevens) is wrong when he says it comes
from the word salaam.
