Kaboom! "Triangulation of Fire" in Sept. 11 Attack (Conspiracy Nation, 9/12/01) -- Contacted by Conspiracy Nation, renowned investigator Sherman Skolnick shared his developing information with this publication. Asked to comment on today's Associated Press story which described the terror onslaught which destroyed the World Trade Center and momentarily paralyzed the Pentagon as "a meticulously planned," "sophisticated and coordinated attack," [1] Skolnick concurred: "Of course it was," he stated. "There was a 'triangulation of fire,' just as in the John F. Kennedy assassination." What a Rand Corporation analyst referred to as "impressive" and "meticulous" planning [1] suggests a level of expertise beyond that of "usual suspect" Osama bin Laden. Bin Laden himself denies having anything to do with yesterday's terror attack [2], which has stunned the American people and increased fears of a financial meltdown. In a breaking report (currently available at http://www.rense.com) Skolnick, (featured on the cover of a book recently published by the University of Chicago press, *Illinois Justice*), amplifies on the financial implications of the "Rude Tuesday" horror. Writes Skolnick: "...the purpose of the 'terrorist attacks' was to effectively paralyze the financial infrastructure of the U.S." [3] Mr. Skolnick explained to Conspiracy Nation that the demolished World Trade Center was the focal point for 30 percent of "clear and settlements" on the New York Stock Exchange. Highly-skilled personnel, many employed by major brokerage houses, who perished in the Tuesday catastrophe cannot be readily replaced. Their expertise spans generations; many learned the tricks of the trade at their grandfather's knee. "These were not minimum-wage employees," Skolnick emphasized. "This is a great loss of human brainpower." But aren't there backup records for their highly-sophisticated financial dealings? "Not so," Mr. Skolnick replied. "Their expertise is *gone*. You can't put expertise on a computer disk." This is reiterated in Mr. Skolnick's report, "America's Reichstag Fire," recently published at www.rense.com -- "The so-called 'back-up' records kept parked across the river in New Jersey are not only inadequate but cannot help reconstruct various accounts and transactions in the works." At this point, warns Skolnick, it appears that some sizeable brokerages will go bankrupt and disappear. The reopening of the stock market in the U.S. is in doubt, based on the current picture. It may reopen Friday, but this is uncertain. Conspiracy Nation also notes the connection between violence attending WORLD TRADE Summits over the past two-or-so years and the destruction of the WORLD TRADE Center. Most protesters demonstrating against the various summits have been non-violent. But a somehow-financed core group of troublemakers consistently infiltrates the anti-globalization protests and ruins reasonable discourse. Who pays the fare?
