truth. They don't even want to hear it.

This sounds a lot like a programmed response, which
 is consistent with some
theories of just who is in control on this planet.

A programmed response?
Well, I can tell you about a response to programming.

Back in the '60's, when the Vietnam was was going
fullspeed, and U.S. servicemen were being shipped home

in body bags - you would have thought the American
People would want to know the truth about how and why
their country had become involved in that national
nightmare called Viet Nam.
Not so. At least not for many.
The Senate Foreign Relations Committee held an open
Hearing into the so-called "Gulf of Tonkin Incident".
The CBS Television Network broadcast 3 or 4 days of
those hearings...live. CBS and its affiliate stations
were absolutely swamped in telephone calls from
millions of people who were incensed that these
hearings had pre-empted their Soap Operas.
The protest calls reached such a high volume that
CBS' phone system was jammed. Many CBS stations
told their receptionist to stop answering the phones.
This serves a concrete example that many American
People prefer the comfort of illusion to reality.
"Inquiring minds want to know is a nice-sounding
marketing slogan. Unfortunately, it isn't true.
