It was the Gore camplain that tried to keep the military vote from being counted, not the republicans. It was the democratic state supreme court that caused the mess to wind up in the Supreme Court of the U.S. with their off the wall rulings. The U.S. Supreme Court made the best of mess that they didn't want to have anything to do with.
