More On The So-Called Christian Missionaries
They're A Cult That Is Actively Subverting Foreign Governments

Waco, Texas -- Hey,

.. There are a few things I want to add.

The church had a hiearchy: rank-and-file, Lifegroup leaders, section
leaders, zone leaders, and the pastor. Heather Mercer [one of the
imprisoned misionaries] was one of the section leaders at the time I
was attacked and exorcised -- this happened in her section, so the
incident went to her. She didn't know how to handle it but sided with
the attackers after one said I was "manifesting demons". The
incident
eventually went to the pastor, Jimmy Seibert, who apoligized but never
addressed the root of the problem -- that these guys don't know the
difference between demon possession and mental illness and free
thought.

I wouldn't exactly say I was kidnapped, although I was pinned to the
floor of my apartment. They do tend to think that people who have
left their church are lost -- when I left, only two people stayed
loyal to me. If you're in good standing with them, these guys will
bring you food and help any way they can. If you've left... well, good
luck.

When Heather was captured, my Lifegroup leader/ex-boyfriend asked me
not to say a word. He said he was telling me "for prayer purposes
only" and reminded me to "not use the Heather situation to get a job"
(and he caught quite an earful from me on that!) I told him I would
never put an innocent person in danger, but that her name had already
been released so there was no harm. Personally, I think I knew too
much about the missionaries in closed countries and it would put them
in danger if I talked. I don't want to say much more than that; I'd
feel horrible if someone died because of me talking.

Some of the things we were taught:

-- it was glorious to be a martyr

-- all the "easy" missionary assignments (Western Europe) were taken

-- "planning to go but willing to stay" (we were either missionaries
or supporting them)

-- Islam = "I Sincerely Love All Muslims"

-- the church often had "half-night of prayer" or "night of prayer"
for certain groups, Muslims being one of them. Basically this was
prayer that they would convert to Christianity. One campus group
satirized them for this ("Allah turned a deaf ear! Join us in praying
for their salvation.") and -- you guessed it -- became the subject of
a half-night of prayer. -- "I am going to die. Worms or cannibals,
someone will eat me." (One of our speakers, Floyd McClung, made us say
this as a way to pump us up for the mission field.)

-- On the Night of Power, the Muslim holy day in which Muhammad began
to receive his visions, Antioch gathers people together to pray they
will see visions of Jesus and convert.

-- "10-40 Window" -- between the 10 degrees and 40 degrees latitude,
the most "unreached" groups of people.

Tell [LSN] to check out the Web page -- especially the World Mandate
section. It says a lot more than I can.
