'I knew September 11 terror suspect', says bomb plotter An man who plotted to bomb some millennium celebrations says he knew one of the September 11 terror suspects. Algerian Ahmed Ressam has told investigators he knew Zacarias Moussaoui from a terrorist training camp in Afghanistan. Ressam is co-operating with authorities in an effort to reduce a 130-year prison term. He has been given the sentence for helping a convicted terrorist prepare to bomb Los Angeles International Airport at New Year in 1999. Ressam has told the FBI that he saw Moussaoui at a training camp they both attended a few years ago. Moussaoui is charged with conspiracy to murder thousands in connection with the September 11 attacks. He was detained on August 17 on immigration charges after he aroused suspicions at a flight school, by saying he wanted to learn to fly but not how to land.
