I fail to see why standards of evidence should be ignored just because this is an egroup; if anything, they should be more strictly adhered to... If one admits that one's memory is hazy regarding an event that occured 37 years ago, and that one didn't bother to do any research to overcome that hazy memory, then why should we believe that person's recollection of any other event that occured that same night 37 years ago?
