They were profiled on the Food TV network; Buffalo Wings originated at a bar in Buffalo, NY; late one night when some regular customers came in and were hungry, the only food left in the kitchen were a batch of chicken wings, so the wife (the proprietors were a married couple) supposedly threw together what she had on hand, and ended up with what we now call Buffalo Wings. If done correctly, Buffalo Wings are delicious; but over the years people have played with the original recipe, and one can get some really atrocious dishes that are called "Buffalo Wings" but are a far cry from the real thing...
