GLATER March 16, 2002 excerpt Longtime clients, the federal government and even some of its own foreign affiliates abandoned Arthur Andersen yesterday, a day after the accounting firm was indicted for destroying Enron documents. Several of the firm's most loyal clients, including the Sara Lee Corporation and Abbott Laboratories from around its hometown, Chicago, said the time had come to switch auditors.
