A pioneering British scientist who was leading studies in Antarctica to
understand the likelihood of life existing on Mars and elsewhere has been
killed in a car accident.
Dr David Wynn-Williams was killed while jogging near his home
in an accident involving two vehicles!

His last work was on the Raman spectrometer for the NASA Athena
Mars-Rovers. Raman spectrometers are used there to analyse
possible cyanobacteria on the surface of Mars!

Similar fate like the famous Wolf Vishniac in 1973 who "fell to death" in
