To Whom It May Concern:
I knew that any F.O.I.A. request that I took on would have been red flaged.
One Mr. Gonzalez of the Los Angeles area conducted a F.O.I.A. on my behalf
and we have Appealed to the CIA for the information which has been redacted
and concealed even though it is more than 50 years old.
Congressman Waxman has written to Mr. Gonzalez saying that he has presented
his request to the Intelligence Committee of Congress.
What is George W. Bush willing to do to keep his father out of both Houses?
As a Governor said he would go to War for his father George H.W. Bush.
A copy of this appeal was sent to Jim Lesar, Esq. a specialist in the JFK
Assassination and Freedom of Information Act Requests. If you believe that
the American Public has a right to know the truth behind Samuel Walter
Washington's career at the CIA then please express this to him and to your
Congressman/woman and Senators.

for documentation on Samuel �Walter� Washington.
To Whom It May Concern:
This is a response to your letter dated April 18, 2002, in response to my
request under the Freedom of Information Act, 5 U.S.C. sec. 552. I
requested any documents be provided to me: In your response of April 18th,
most of the information is redacted which I find unacceptable. You
mentioned Additoional material yet you do not give a page count.
�I would like all documentation within the Central Intelligence Agency on
Samuel Walter Washington who was employed by the CIA during the following
periods Feb. 8, 1950 through Dec. 31, 1953 and any record up until his death
on April 12, 1978.
The Basis of this Appeal and the contents of the redacted documents numbers
12 through 41. Also the material which was not disclosed Agency failed to
give a page count on this material. Surely the blind can see that Mr.
Washington who was in charge of more than 250 CIA agents was the
father-in-law of CIA agent George de Mohrenschildt who was also Lee Harvey
Oswald�s friend prior to the assassination of the JFK Assassination.
The American Public had a right to know this when the Warren Commission
Report was given and when the House Select Committee on Assassinations
published their report in 1979. Recently the government spent millions to
uncover under the JFK Assassination Records Act which also shows the
importance of this discovery.
Former President George H.W. Bush has admitted knowing George de
Mohrenschildt since 1942. He failed to make this disclosure when
investigating the assassination on November 22 and 23, 1963, when he was
nominated as CIA director and when he signed into law The JFK Assassination
Records Review Board Act.
Also the basis of my request is that Mr. Washington�s employment was almost
fifty years old and any operation that he may have worked on is over and is
no jeopardy to our National Security in the year 2002. Mr. Washington died
in 1978 nearly twenty five years ago.
I am aware that if my APPEAL is denied I am entitled to know the grounds
for this denial and able to proceed further to the U.S. District Court in
Los Angeles. I am aware that while the law allows your agency to withhold
specified categories of exempted information, you are required by law to
release any segregable portions that are left after the exempted material
has been deleted from the data I am seeking.
I am perfectly willing to spend $30.00 to obtain this information and if it
should cost more please contact me by telephone or in writing at the address
and telephone number below.
