His warning came as Israel intensified its military offensive against Palestinian-ruled areas, following attacks this week that have killed more than 30 Israelis. Dozens of Israeli tanks and armoured vehicles moved into the West Bank city of Nablus yesterday, hours after Palestinian gunmen killed five Israelis in a house filled with children in a nearby Jewish settlement.
