-Caveat Lector- It is in the best interest of every nation to have peace.
Still, it is in our leader's best interests to have war. Due to politics, oil, money, or power, we will never have peace. Hitler didn't want peace. Sharon does not want peace. Bush does not want peace. Despite what they say, their actions of war speak more than their words do. Bullets will never buy peace, no matter how many are fired. Will Israel learn? Will America learn? Most importantly, will our leader's learn? Madmen make war. Why do we still elect them to lead us? Will they change their behaviour, while their economic and political interests point to the paths of war and lies? History repeats itself. The nations with "hate" problems are always those with leaders who have strong economic and political ties to their own military-industrial sectors of their countries. It is in everyone's interest that these kind of alliances and political money and power games are not allowed. While our elected leaders are making money, people are dying.
