Mr. Carlton A. Barrett, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Pennsylvania Department of American Legion, addressing the Dallas [TX] meeting of the Congress of Freedom in 1956, stated:
“During the last 37 years [since 1919], the American people have been confronted with a situation in world affairs that has repeatedly caused them to expend money and end up with a world economic situation much worse than before. During those years, the United States has fought three terrible wars and seems faced with another greater in scope than any war in history.
“IF the international economic situation had been properly settled in the best interests of ALL people after each of these previous wars when the United States, in each case was the most powerful nation in the world and well able to enforce a fair and equitable settlement, the threat of a new war would have been eliminated.
“This was not done, however, and after each war the carrying out of the peace was placed in the hands of a few individuals, LEADERS OF GREAT INTERNATIONAL BANKING HOUSES and INTERNATIONAL TRADE GROUPS who, because they and their associates CONTROLLED the greater part of world trade, were primarily interested in maintaining that control without consideration for the peaceful, economic progress of the world.
“As a result of placing the control of the United States foreign policy in the hands of such men, in time of peace, the United States, lost every advantage our young men and women fought and died for and for which many of our youth are now in veterans hospitals and for which many widows and orphans are living without husband and father.
“The small group of international banking houses who control world trade through the Sterling Bloc are J.P.Morgan & Co., Brown Bros., Harriman & Co., and Anderson, Clayton and Fleming. Working in close harmony with these houses are Kuhn, Loeb & Co., Dillon Reed & Co., and Lehman Bros. Records show that these houses work together for their mutual benefit, and through these houses the great fortunes of Mellon, Rockefeller, duPont, Guggenheim, Vanderbilt, Duke, and many others operate on an international scale. Between them by one means or another, they control over 80% of the utilities, transportation systems and communications of the United States and 85% of the same enterprises in the rest of the world outside of the Communist countries.”
Mr. Barrett represented the United States in conferences with Presidents Peron of Argentina, Berres of Uruguay, and Aleman of Mexico. He had furnished information to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. In his book, The Story Behind Our Foreign Relations, Mr. Barrett sketched the “Road Ahead.” This was over forty years ago. He wrote:
“The continued rise and fall of one empire after another has been the result of men struggling for individual freedom and after accomplishing their objective, relinquishing that individual freedom to a CENTRAL GOVERNMENT through laziness and the failure of succeeding generations to accept their individual obligations in the community, state and nation; and in this way allowed the central government to acquire power far beyond the original intent of the people. In this way small groups vested with great wealth have been able to secure control of these central governments and direct their actions for the benefit of the few at the expense of the masses.”
President Abraham Lincoln feared the same in his day. He forecast that wealth would be accumulated into a few men’s hands, and they would corrupt the government through bribery and bankers controlling the issuing of money at interest.
These same International Bankers formed the Council on Foreign Relations in the U.S. in 1919, and a sister organization in the British Commonwealth. They were invited into the federal government by Socialist President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. As advisers and un-elected personnel, they now control the federal government COMPLETELY.
The CFR finally had gained such power by taking over both political parties under different names that they could put up their men in BOTH parties for the presidency. Since Dwight D. Eisenhower and including him, those running have been affiliated in some way with the CFR – including John F. Kennedy.
The goal is Socialism where the government owns everything and the International Bankers owns the government. It is working like clockwork in the free world. They already have the Communist world. Now they need to absorb the Islamic world or eliminate it through war.
Revelation 13 reported nearly 2,000 years ago that this government was coming. To all who have their pulse on world conditions and understand what this editorial means, they see it coming clearly.
