Israel and those U.N. Resolutions

George W. Bush is claiming, with chutzpah gleaned from his masters, that
"the credibility of the United Nations is at stake" in the confrontation
with Iraq over enforcement of U.N. resolutions. Not a peep from the
pious poodle in the White House about the sixty-eight UN Resolutions
violated by the Israelis for decades, including as recently as last
spring when the Zionists refused to allow a U.N. commission into Jenin
to investigate the possibility of war crimes having occurred there in
April.
The "fiercely independent" MSNBC cable news channel and the "you make
the decision" Fox cable news channel, have not made Israeli violations
of 68 UN resolutions -- in some cases for 20 or more years -- a rallying
cry of any kind.
The issue is not "the credibility of the U.N.," it is the prosecution of
a war with Iraq on behalf of Israeli security. The Sept. 17 issue of the
Wall Street Journal conservatively estimates that the Iraqi war will
cost US taxpayers between $200 and $300 billion dollars; even as elderly
Americans on fixed incomes live in poverty, unable to afford proper
medications and care; even as our environment, our schools, highways,
mass transit, and railroads deteriorate from lack of funds; even as the
quality of American life sinks so that the quality of Israeli life,
based on illegal occupation of Palestinian land (condemned by U.N.
resolutions), may improve.

Australian Jews win landmark race case
Toronto Globe and Mail, September 17, 2002
Australia's Jewish community won a landmark court case on Sept. 17
when a judge ruled a Web site that denied the Holocaust happened and
vilified Jewish people was illegal under racial discrimination laws.
Justice Catherine Branson ordered Frederick Toben to remove offensive
material from his Adelaide Institute Web site within the next seven days
and issue a written
apology to the president of the Executive Council of Australian Jewry,
Jeremy Jones, who brought the legal action, and to pay the court's
costs.
Mr. Toben, said on his Web site he would appeal the ruling. Toben was
jailed in Germany in 1999 for seven months on charges of inciting hatred
through pamphlets. The Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission,
which first ordered Mr. Toben to remove the material from his site two
years ago, said, "This case confirms that, at least for Australian
sites, the Internet is subject to the same legal standards as other
forms of communications such as print, TV and radio." (End quote)
HOFFMAN'S COMMENT: To paint Frederick Toben's campaign against WWII
atrocity propaganda, as a "race case," scrapes the bottom of the barrel
of nasty lies. A scholar with a doctorate in philosophy, Toben is
concerned with defending the German people from racial vilification
disguised as "Holocaust education." He served several months in jail in
Germany due to the circulation of his revisionist publications in that
nation. "Hate" and "race" are false descriptions of Dr. Toben's
dissident activism. These buzz words are purveyed in order to smear
Toben and disguise the true nature of the disgraceful, worldwide
Inquisition against revisionists, a form of repression which is
supported by the "democratic" Western media and academia, who are
otherwise obsessed with bringing "reform" to Islamic nations (i.e.
enforcement of Zionist control over TV, newspapers and the Internet).
