To anyone with even a basic understanding and respect for the Bill of Rights, the United States, since September 11, 2001, has begun a nightmarish descent. To put it simply, the Bush White House has put the Constitution on the chopping block in ways the Clintons would have never dared to attempt.
Yes. Remember when the Republicans were all running around with their personal copy of the Constitution in their pockets. What they were doing was reading it over to see what they wanted to change or delete. They must have had some really effective meetings on the subject. Otherwise, they would never have been able to achieve the damage they have succeeded in bringing about in only a couple of years of a Republican administration. They probably have get-togethers these days just to giggle and backslap over their amazing success in abrogating the rights of American citizens.
