Could there be a correlation here? Are other US cities seeing a huge increase in heroin? The 58.22 grams of heroin that Nashua police seized in 2001 accounted for only 1.59 percent of the value of all drugs seized that year. In the first seven months of this year, the narcotics unit seized 245.02 grams of heroin with a street value of $58,000.
