Jerry Falwell http://www.wnd.com/news/printer-friendly.asp?ARTICLE_ID=29185 Falwell appeals to Baal for relief from the consequences of his own actions. Politics in the pulpit is protected under the 1st Amendment to the Constitution. Churches and pastors have an unalienable, God given, right to speak out on any issue they want, UNLESS, those pastors and churches signed away those liberties by entering into a devil's deal with the federal government in general, and the IRS specifically, through 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Incorporation. They are then saddled with rules and regulations on what they can and cannot do or say, all for a smidgen of tax deductibility for the donators and supporters of his church, and other petty perks. Falwell is being hypocritical by claiming religious and free speech rights knowing all the while that it was he who entered into the deadly agreement. This wasn't some thing foisted upon him against his will, he willfully and willingly signed the agreement. Yes, that's right, at some big table, surrounded by lawyers, and tax accountants, Falwell signed the document and gave up his rights, the rights of the church, and became a "government church". He is not a pastor he is a CEO or agent of the 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Corporation with a fiduciary responsibility to the US Government. The bible says you cannot serve two masters, which is exactly what Falwell is trying to do. But the Bible is plain, you cannot do it, it is impossible. It also warns us not to serve Mammon, which is the very definition of the IRS. Falwell is in trouble and complaining because of his own disobedience to the religion he claims. Christ is the head of the church, but it was Falwell who lopped off the head of the body of Christ, and replaced it with Caesar, while still claiming allegiance to Christ. Falwell has rendered ALL unto Caesar and Nothing unto God. He gave up being a Pastor to the flock to become a Preist of the not-so-almighty Baal. He is now trying to resolve the predicament of the silenced church by appealing to Caesar via legislation, instead of appealing to Jesus Christ and dissolving his 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Corporate status, thereby freeing the church to liberty under God. And by these fruits we know who Falwell serves. Falwell is a Priest of the Whore of Babylon Church, he has made his deal with Baal and Satan and either needs to shut up and take the consequences of his actions, or repent and remove himself and his church from under the authority of the Beast and return to the liberty of Jesus Christ.
