The Ruckus Society believes that strategic nonviolent direct action has a long and proud history of creating social change.

NRDC works to restore the integrity of the elements that sustain life — air, land and water — and to defend endangered natural places.
Right now, thanks to Excellent Window and Carpet Cleaning Inc. and Olivier Suzor, all donations to the Natural Resource Defense Council will be matched! This match ends December 31, 2002 or once $4,000 has been reached, whichever comes first. Thank you for your support.
