Welcome to my site on the assassination of Senator Huey Long. I hope I have done a decent job of orginizing the info within. If you have ANY questions, comments, and/or suggestions please email me! Thank you and enjoy! This web site is the result of a report for a Forensic Seminar class I was enrolled in at the University of New Haven. It has grown from its original intent into an encompassing work. The original scope of the assignment was to pick a murder case and review all of the evidence to the case along with the forensic examinations of the evidence. As you can well imagine I picked a problematic one. The official resolution of the case came in the early 90s and it is that Dr. Carl Austin Weiss shot Senator Huey Pierce Long in the State Capitol Building in Baton Rouge on the night of September 8th 1935. I am still updating and adding information to this website. There is so much information that I fell it will take a long time to complete this site to satisfaction.
