There is a serious question about the sudden death of Democratic Senator Paul Wellstone
that has no doubt occurred to many people: was Wellstone the victim of a political
assassination?
Today the news was talking about a group of Republican congressmen who experienced (just yesterday) an emergency when (if the report was correct, the pilot discovered a problem with his landing gear). Apparently it must have been a false alarm, but of course we are all supposed to believe it really happened and now we aren't suspicious any more, because golly gee it happened to some Republicans too.
