Before anyone gets off on the Nation of Islam (NOI) and its "Helter Skelter"
implications to
the shootings in the D.C. area, note that this Liz person has a biography and it is
located at
her website. Once you wade through the varied and various trials and tribulations of
politics and jobs (and amorousitousness [can't tell if this is "come-on" or just
bloated
gloating for its own sake - but, like, who cares anyway?]), we get to the very bottom
part
that explains her position on spiritual mythology. This tends to explain *why* NOI is
(s)elected as a likely culprit.
In her article, she fails to note that the shootists had a predilection for hanging
out at the
YMCA and other Xtian-run shelters ("Helter Shelter"?). Whatever Malcolm or anyone of
the
others of his belief system may have ever said, is this to ignore that better
worsenesses
had been said about him and his crewe. Also note that NOI has produced a great book on
the origins of slavery that some may not accept out-of-hand.
I don't know one way or the other what John Willie's motivations were -- race, gov't
agent,
Gulf War stuff, or just a sense of poor self-image. The point is, if he was race
motivated,
he wouldn't have picked with such lack of discrimination with an emphasis on
diversity. As
it stands, unless he personally knew any of the shot, there's no way he could have
known
who thought or believed what (unless he stalked them beforehand).
And, anyway, who'd use the example of a whacked-out weirdo to continue La revolucion?
As if, like, ya know, the martyr Manson ain't had too darned many emulatoritionists.
