You really can’t get over the fact that there are people like me, with balanced views on this issue, can you?
I accept Israel’s right to exist, and think they are guilty of horrible acts of oppression. Beloved? I would hardly call Israel beloved. I have far deeper feelings for the US, and India, and the Netherlands, to a lesser degree Thailand, which are places I love, and consider a little bit of my home. Israel — that’s a country where I have relatives, and where a few very close friends of mine come from, that is important to members of my family.
Unfortunately you seem, like so many others, to assume a) Jew is synonymous with Israeli – and B) all Jews think alike.
I am a secular politically upwing psychedelic artist and writer, not some Hassid in a black suit, nor some right winger yarmi-bopper. Get over it.
