Change the subject when it suits you...I see how it goes.

I recently read a very eye-opening piece from 1985 and reprinted in the latest issue of FREE AMERICAN entitled THE LIFE OF AN AMERICAN JEW IN RACIST MARXIST ISRAEL and written by one Jack Bernstein...I heartily recommend it. I didn’t change the subject – I exhausted it.

My point (maybe it was too obscure) is that many nations have ignoble aspects and / or contradictions in their founding. What is being said about Israel / Palestine in that last post can be applied to America and the natives that lived here before the European conquest, for example.

Why does such a start make Israel illegitimate, while not doing the same to the USA?

How about the Japanese, as they swept out of Korea, and displaced (mostly through death) the native Ainu? Is Japan an illegitimate state because of this?

The Manchus? The Huns? The Romans? All of North and South America?

Why is only Israel singled out when this is clearly the usual MO for nation building?

I will go read that article now.
