To answer your top-posted question: by analogy with http://ctwm.org/#mailinglist, I'd try sending a mail with "unsubscribe ctwm" to [email protected] . To get back to my own earlier remark: > On Tue, May 6, 2014 at 5:57 PM, Rhialto <[email protected]> wrote: > > I see several calls to XGetWindowProperty(), but no calls to XFree() to > > return the retrieved data. > > Memory leak? The current version of twm in NetBSD does XFree() such data, so I think we should do that too. See http://cvsweb.netbsd.org/bsdweb.cgi/xsrc/external/mit/twm/dist/src/, for instance GetClientID() in session.c. Meanwhile I've made a little new private branch to look at MWM hints, to make windows without border and/or title bar automatically. That would probably help in environments such as Gnome, to get automatic title-less docks and menu bars and whatnot. It's fairly simple, if one just ignores all the other hints :-) -Olaf. -- ___ Olaf 'Rhialto' Seibert -- The Doctor: No, 'eureka' is Greek for \X/ rhialto/at/xs4all.nl -- 'this bath is too hot.'
