Dear list, first, let me say, it's nice to see ctwm back in maintenance and with a new version.
About my java problem: Java applications do not regain focus after temporarily switching to any other application. Also (in other java applications) I can only type in dialogs if the parent window has the focus. I have found this older rejected bug at java: http://bugs.java.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6798064 It seems the Java people think it's a bug in the respective wm's. I also found some discussions about this at the fvwm forums, for example: http://www.fvwmforums.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2930 Often a "lenient" focus handling mode is proposed to get java applications to some state of working. Is there a similar work-around possible in ctwm? Regards, Matthias Kievernagel
