I have merged the EWMH code into the trunk. It also builds the experimental program "forward" which tries to forward mouse/key events from a desktop window to the root window, so that ctwm's bindings can detect them. However, when I tried it in my environment it didn't really work as well as I hoped. In different environments it had differing levels of success, so there could be some hope for the idea.
