Another snippet of information. On a PC in my department running 64-bit scientific linux 2.6, with ctwm 3.8.2 (created May 2014) I can run LO V 4.1.3.2 (2013 vintage), and the font colour and highlight menus (2D grids) work fine in ctwm.
I don't know whether the problems on my home PC are caused by LO developers, Fedora developers, or something I've done wrong. (I don't know much about linux development tools. My programming experience, apart from simple shell scripts, is all in an AI language.) When I get home I'll see if I can get the rpm which I've just discovered: ftp://fr2.rpmfind.net/linux/fedora/linux/releases/20/Everything/i386/os/Packages/l/libreoffice-4.1.3.2-9.fc20.i686.rpm to work in F22 with ctwm. I expect there will be too many dependency clashes. Aaron
