Just for information: I fetched and built it on my fedora 22 desktop PC -- using only 'make'. Everything seemed to work perfectly -- quck and clean. I then re-linked /usr/local/bin/ctwm to the new version and asked ctwm to restart itself (invoking f.restart), which it did, and then went on working happily as if nothing ad happened. Nothing went wrong in the remaining time I used that machine this morning (about 2 hours). If there were any differences I did not notice them! Thanks. Aaron
