My new year greeting: Many thanks for all this work.

I have tried it on Fedora 24. Make just worked. I then replaced my link in
/usr/local/bin/ctwm to the new ctwm and inside the running ctwm invoked
f.restart to make ctwm restart using the new version. That replaced version
3.8.2-post fetched from bzr on 4th November. (Checked by invoking f.version
in one of my menus.)

That was a few days ago. So far everything has been working perfectly.

Thanks.

I suspect many linux users who know nothing about ctwm could benefit from
using it.

Is there a mechanism to invite managers of linux distributions to consider
including the rejuvenated ctwm as a compact, fast, very tailorable, very
reliable, window manager. Perhaps that works only if there is a ctwm
champion for each version?

Aaron
