How new a -pre is that?  The path suggests it's built out of a bzr
checkout, in which case it should be dumping out a revid as well.

The recent focus changes we've done have been the fixup of "we were
told nothing" that affected Chrome et al in Jan, and the fixup of "we
were told not to and we did anyway" that affected Java stuff in Feb.
That sounds vaguely akin to the latter, maybe?  See if the latest code
makes a difference...
