Hi,

just stepped on a bug with "AutoFocusToTransients". I've enabled so that
e.g. the focus is set to the "save as" window when I save a file from a
webpage etc.

This does work, i.e., the focus is set to the Save-as-dialog. But when
I type the first letter, a little drop-down appears that shows existing
file names in the current directory. When I continue typing, this
drop-down disappears when the typed letter no longer match anything,
and in this moment, the focus is set back to the main window. Thus,
I cannot continue typing but must move the mouse over the dialog.

Without "AutoFocusToTransients" I can type in the save-as-dialog, but
other transient windows like the print dialog from acroread etc. don't
work because they don't get the focus.

I wonder if there is a way to keep the focus at the transient window
when the drop-down disappears. Maybe this drop-down is considered
a new transient window (although the focus stays on the whole dialog)
and when this disappears, ctwm thinks "Oh, the transient window is
gone, return the focus to the former window"?

cu,
Frank
