Coordination by email, for example on this list.
If you do small changes, just do them on the appropriate branch.  The
main development branch is free.lp.se/X.ctwm, of course.
free.lp.se/X.ctwm.3_7-RELEASE is the current release branch, and I
consider it off-limits for anything but fairly easy bugfixes by now.

Actually, if you have fixes for the 3_7-RELEASE branch, the best thing
to do is to commit them to that branch, then propagate to the main
branch.  That's done like this:

  monotone propagate free.lp.se/X.ctwm.3_7-RELEASE free.lp.se/X.ctwm

If you're doing heavier work, it might be a good idea to create your
own branch.  Name it by tucking something on 'free.lp.se/X.ctwm.',
like the old gnome and kde branches (they are there for purely
historical reasons).  Another variant could be
free.lp.se/X.ctwm.rhialto.{project}.  I leave it up to you to decide
what you do.
