FYI,
I just fell over this
http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-hethmon-mcmurray-ftp-hosts-08 which describes
a new suggested FTP command called HOST that is to be issued before the USER
command to let a client select which virtual server to use, like for when you
want to host multiple ftp servers on the same IP address.
I'm not saying we should proceed and write code for it immediately, but it's
worth noticing just in case servers and other clients actually start using
it...
