although I agree I dont see a problem with it; anyway the default string
contains already OS information - only the exact version is missing yet;
but from another point of view one could argue that its pretty much same
as exposing OpenSSL and other dependency lib versions ...
beside that the string can be manipulated anyway, and IIRC only the curl
commandine sets this by default to the version string - any other
application must set this string self.
