The different alternatives used there in Patrick's line aren't even mentioned
on that man page so I will wholeheartedly agree that it could or even should
be improved.
But I don't know this area enough to write the text. Any suggestions?
I do not know much more than what Patrick told us. But showing the mentioned
line in the docs, even as example, would have helped me for sure.
