If so probably the main problem of 1.3.1 in 2013Q1 is a bug in the counting semaphore implementation which has been fixed in 1.4.2nb1 (and 1.5.1 in pkgsrc head): http://mail-index.netbsd.org/pkgsrc-changes/2013/06/28/msg091325.html (special thanks to soda@ for providing advice and patch) The next qemu-1.5.2 will include the fix.
