I have Dell T105, and today I was installing NetBSD/i386 5.2. And I've got the same situation described below. The dmesg is at http://www.ki.nu/~makoto/NetBSD/dmesg/T-105-5.2-INSTALL_FLOPPY

A "pci_intr_map: no MP mapping > found" error message is displayed: > http://www.jaist.ac.jp/~ryoh/tmp/boot.jpg > Disabling ACPI and SMP "boot netbsd -12" can boot my system. Mainly I'm testing with netbsd-INSTALL_FLOPPY.gz (of NetBSD/i386 5.2) "boot netbsd -12" boot fine. And reading above old mail, I've checked two old kernels: NetBSD 5.99.33 (INSTALL_FLOPPY) #0: Mon Jun 28 23:48:38 UTC 2010 has the same symptom, while NetBSD 5.99.39 (INSTALL_FLOPPY) #0: Mon Sep 27 06:49:34 UTC 2010 Boots fine, Both binaries are at ftp://ftp.jp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD-daily/HEAD/201006290000Z/i386/ and ftp://ftp.jp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD-daily/HEAD/201009270000Z/i386/ (Both of them are nyftp old mirrors.) I'll check the other date if I have a time (is there any old archive ?) Thanks for reading --- Makoto Fujiwara, Chiba, Japan, Narita Airport and Disneyland prefecture.
