I updated a netbsd-7 checkout and rebuilt, and glxgears failed, because libX11.so in my destdir wanted libxcb.so.1, but libxcb.so.2 was there. Running nbmake-$arch in libX11 didn't rebuild it, but after cleandir and install then glxgears built.
So it seems like somehow there is a missing dependency of libX11 on libxcb?
