I happened to read pullup-7 #381 which notes that the newer Mesa explicitly removes support for r128 (among others). Perhaps that's what I'm seeing. There was also a hint that perhaps that support could be restored. If so, that would be nice. If not, well, I did manage to score a couple of AGP Radeon cards from a thrift shop. -- |/"\ John D.
