had already tried that. Doesn't compile: GENERIC:576: `radeondrmkmsfb* at radeonfbbus?' is orphaned (nothing matching `radeonfbbus?' found) Same problem with i915 Would be nice to try to determine why the switch to hires console happens and how to prevent it, as well as getting i915drmkms working properly.
