I couldn't even compile a amd64 GENERIC kernel w/o the attached patch - CC_WNO_ADDRESS_OF_PACKED_MEMBER is undefined in kernel builds (but that hack sounds like the wrong way to fix things). Luke, what would be the correct fix? Martin
